Formation of intercultural competence as a pedagogical problem

As knowledge of English becomes a priority for the development Armed Forces Ukraine, modern military specialist is faced with number requirements, one which formation professionally oriented intercultural competence. Thus, cadet, who has certain conceptual and terminological apparatus in his/her specialization, opportunity to test own skills, provide self-analysis level both subject competences, as well receive an impartial feedback from foreign experts on readiness professional activity.
 The article considers main notions that reveal field concepts "competence", "competency", "culture", "intercultural competence" are defined their historical-comparative analysis carried out. It found, training cadets out complex pedagogical influence, purpose developing among currently considered be essence concept "competence" variations its interpretation by scientists, differentiation clarified. role humanities general language particular competences specialists noted.

Intercultural presented system interconnected elements position personality interaction society through communication, which, turn, means adapting cultural values ​​of acquiring educational form qualified graduate higher institution.
